When was the last time that you and your family were able to really be still? Today, as an unexpected result of COVID-19, we are forced to be still, as we face historic closures of cherished churches, schools, universities, local businesses, entertainment venues, gathering spaces, and new home quarantines. In the midst of this unforeseen storm, God is calling, “Come back to Me...with open hearts...don’t let fear...keep us apart.” How will you use this remarkable and unprecedented time? Unite with us. Let’s share the fire of our faith and the gift of our new stillness to provide solace, inspiration, prayer and growth to each other and to the world.
Newman Connection is a national, non-profit ministry which has worked to “Keep Students Connected to the Catholic Church” for over 10 years. Our High School outreach program has been endorsed by Bishops in 109 dioceses and we have helped to connect hundreds of thousands of young people to vibrant campus ministries. Today, we expand our ministry to invite our larger community to unite with us on a journey of Spiritual Rebirth. May the gift of our new stillness bring healing for ourselves, our families, our church and our country.
